You should know what occupational therapy at home costs before you call, not afterwards. Here are my prices for private patients and self-payers around Landau and the Southern Wine Route.
Yes, that works. You only need a medical prescription if you want to submit the costs to your health insurance. If you want to use the treatment privately or preventively, no prescription is required – simply let me know.
This is the most common misunderstanding I come across: many people wait months for a doctor's appointment to obtain a prescription, when they could have started right away.
My services are exclusively for private patients and self-payers. The reason is straightforward: billing statutory health insurance in Germany requires your own practice rooms, and I work exclusively on the road.
| Service | Duration | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Assessment of occupational therapy needs (initial session) | approx. 60 minutes | €74.63 |
| Motor-functional treatment | 45 minutes, of which 30 minutes therapy time | €102.47 |
| Sensorimotor-perceptual treatment | 60 minutes, of which 45 minutes therapy time | €136.64 |
| Cognitive training | 45 minutes, of which at least 30 minutes therapy time | €102.47 |
| Psycho-functional treatment | 75 minutes, of which 60 minutes therapy time | €170.80 |
| Thermal application | in addition to treatment | €15.32 |
All prices are final. As a medical treatment, occupational therapy is exempt from VAT under § 4 no. 14 UStG – nothing is added on top. I am happy to send you the complete price list, including group and parallel treatments.
| Item | When | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Home visit (call-out fee) | per appointment at your home | €49.61 |
| Visit to a care or social facility | per appointment, e.g. in a care home | €32.35 |
| Report transmission fee | on request only | €2.16 |
I do not charge separate travel costs – the journey is covered by the call-out fee.
Over short distances the call-out fee may be waived – simply ask me about it.
I would like you to receive the highest possible reimbursement, so that an illness or accident does not become a financial burden as well. What I cannot do is promise you a figure.
Reimbursement depends on your tariff. Some tariffs cover remedies in full, others only partially or up to a maximum rate. Please clarify this with your insurer before therapy begins – ideally in writing.
Those entitled to Beihilfe usually submit my invoice together with the medical prescription to their Beihilfe office. Rates differ by employer and federal state.
Direct billing with statutory health insurance is not possible, as a mobile therapist without practice rooms cannot obtain the required approval.
Your invoice lists every service with its item number and date, so that your insurer or Beihilfe office can process it without follow-up questions.
Call me or send a message. I will tell you in advance which services make sense in your case and what an appointment will actually cost – without obligation and without time pressure.
