As a freelance occupational therapist, I have specialized in treating older people and adults with neurological conditions. My passion is supporting people in maintaining or regaining their independence in daily life.

Through home visits, I can treat you in your familiar environment – where therapy is most effective. Together we work according to the SMART concept on your individual goals and continuously adapt the treatment to your progress.

My approach is holistic: I consider not only the physical aspects, but also your personal environment, your habits, and your goals. This way, we develop sustainable solutions for your daily life together.

Why do you only treat private patients and self-payers?

To be approved for billing with statutory health insurance companies, a practice is required. Since I work exclusively on home visits, I do not have my own practice.

Do I need a prescription for occupational therapy?

Normally, you only need a medical prescription if you want to submit the treatment costs to your health insurance. If you want to use the treatment privately or preventively, no medical prescription is required – just let me know.

Which towns do you visit?

I come to your home – including Offenbach an der Queich, Landau in der Pfalz, Annweiler am Trifels, Bad Bergzabern, Edenkoben, Herxheim bei Landau, Germersheim, Bellheim, Rülzheim, Insheim, Essingen, Hochstadt (Pfalz), Speyer, Neustadt an der Weinstraße, Kandel and Bornheim. If your town is not listed, simply ask.

How do I get an appointment?

You can contact me by email, through the contact form on this website, or by phone. If I am currently on the road, please leave a message on the answering machine – I will call you back as soon as possible.

How quickly can I get an appointment?

Currently, I typically schedule appointments within 1–2 weeks. Depending on availability, it may be faster.

What happens during the first home visit?

At the first appointment I take time for a detailed conversation and look at your home environment together with you. From this we derive your personal goals and decide what to work on. You do not need to prepare anything – relatives are welcome to join.

What does a treatment cost?

Costs depend on the type and duration of treatment. I will be happy to provide you with a non-binding quote when you contact me. This way, you can clarify with your health insurance before treatment begins how much cost coverage is possible.

How much will my health insurance cover?

I wish for you the highest possible reimbursement so that your illness or an accident does not also become a financial challenge. Due to the great variety of reimbursement guidelines, I unfortunately cannot make a binding statement about the amount of your deductible. Please clarify these questions with your health insurance before starting therapy. My task is honest and transparent service from first contact to invoicing.

Can the treatment be billed through Beihilfe?

Those entitled to Beihilfe (German civil servant health assistance) usually submit my invoice together with the medical prescription to their Beihilfe office. Reimbursement rates differ by employer and federal state, so I cannot give binding information on this. Please clarify it with your Beihilfe office in advance – I will issue the invoice with all the details required.

Can I use benefits from my care level (Pflegegrad)?

Occupational therapy is a remedy (Heilmittel) and is usually billed through health insurance rather than the long-term care insurance fund. Whether additional long-term care funds apply in your case depends on your individual situation – please clarify this directly with your care insurance fund.

What is Novafon therapy?

Novafon therapy is a local vibration therapy using a certified medical device. The gentle sound waves are used for myofascial pain, trigger points, and muscle tension, as well as to support muscle tone regulation in neurological rehabilitation. I have completed certified training for this treatment and offer it as part of my home visits – including guidance for self-application on request.
